Coupling

Sung-Il High Torque Disk Coupling is the development of SD series designed using computerized simulation and maximizing plate spring quality. The SHD series has a plate spring with a number of 2x mounting holes more than the SD series. Its function is to increase the strength and stiffness of the torque so that precision increases. The addition of mounting holes on this plate spring also serves to distribute greater torque.

In the SHD series, the bushings have been combined on the plate spring. Its function is to protect the plate spring from overload and misalignment. The size of the outer diameter of the bushings is greater than the diameter of the mounting hole on the plate spring, so that the clutch has resistance to angular, parallel misalignment, or end-play.
