In an effort to enhance human resource (HR) competencies in the industrial sector, the Vocational Training and Productivity Center (BBPVP) conducted a visit to the PIDI SSD Robotics IoT Center. This visit aimed to establish collaboration in training programs focused on strengthening the skills of educators as an initial step in preparing a workforce ready to face the challenges of modern industry.

During the discussion, both parties explored various aspects of training implementation, including the introduction of the latest technologies in robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). These technologies are rapidly advancing and play a crucial role in improving efficiency and operational effectiveness across various industrial sectors. Therefore, understanding and mastering these technologies is essential for educators to equip the younger generation with the skills needed to compete in the job market.

Furthermore, this collaboration also includes the development of an industry-driven curriculum aligned with the latest technological advancements. With a relevant curriculum, educators can adopt more innovative teaching methods, including the use of simulation tools and IoT- and robotics-based laboratories. This initiative is expected to enhance the quality of education in vocational and technical institutions.

As a center for innovation and technological development, PIDI SSD Robotics IoT Center plays a strategic role in supporting industry-based vocational education. Through well-structured training programs, teachers and instructors are expected to be better prepared to guide students in meeting the ever-evolving demands of the industry.
