In an effort to expand knowledge and strengthen academic collaboration with the industry, lecturers from Universitas Kristen Maranatha and Universitas Budi Luhur visited the PIDI SSD Robotics-IoT Center. This activity aimed to discuss the development of Industry 4.0 technology and take a tour to see the available facilities.
The visit was warmly welcomed by the SSD Automation team, who provided presentations on various innovations and implementations of robotics-based technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). The discussion covered various key aspects of Industry 4.0 development, such as industrial automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and the application of IoT to enhance efficiency and productivity across different sectors.
In addition to the discussion session, the lecturers were also invited to tour the Robotics IoT Center to directly observe the various available facilities and technologies. They gained insights into how the latest technology is applied in the industrial world and the potential collaborations that can be established between academia and industry in research and innovation development.
This activity is expected to strengthen the synergy between the education sector and industry, leading to innovations that contribute to technological advancements in Indonesia. With visits like this, it is hoped that students and academics will be better prepared to face challenges and seize opportunities in the Industry 4.0 era.
