Standard Type Safety Light Curtain

The SFL series safety light curtain is installed in potentially hazardous or dangerous areas to protect personnel from injuries. The light curtain features proven technology from Autonics area sensors and sensor mapping. These light curtains are designed to meet international safety standards and regulations. Various detection models (finger/hand/hand-body detection) and safety functions are available for diverse applications.

Type 4 ESPE (AOPD), SIL3, SIL CL3, Category 4, PL e, CE Certification, UL, S-Mark, KCs (Industrial robot protection device, select models).
- Available in 3 detection models (finger, hand, hand-body detection).
- Available in various protection height models:
Ø14 mm (finger detection type) 144 ~ 1,008 mm
Ø20 mm (hand detection type) 183 ~ 1,023 mm
Ø30 mm (hand-body detection type) 1,043 ~ 1,868 mm.
- Equipped with various safety-related functions & self-diagnosis capabilities:
- Safety-related functions: interlock, lockout, EDM, muting, override, blanking, resolution reduction, etc.
- Self-diagnosis functions: mutual interference, light level detection, sensor malfunction detection.
- Selectable detection range (short/long mode) & configurable switch control (NPN/PNP output).
- Operational status displayed via a 7-segment display and LED indicator.
- Easy beam alignment with top and bottom beam indicators.
- Output display indicator on the top shows received/blocked light status and idle status. No additional lamp is required.
- 4 non-safety outputs available for various applications (2 AUX, 2 lamps).

Various Models for Different Applications
Finger detection models (Ø14 mm), hand detection models (Ø20 mm), and hand-body detection models (Ø30 mm) are available for diverse user environments.

Easy Installation
Users can check the light-received status during installation using the top and bottom beam indicators. Adjustable standard brackets can be installed at the top, bottom, or center of the unit. The brackets can be adjusted 15 degrees to the right or left for easier installation.

High Visibility with Operation Indicators/Displays
The unit features a 7-segment display and LED indicators for easy status reading.

Slim, Durable, and Environment-Resistant Design
The unit has a slim size of L 29 mm x W 35 mm with a sturdy housing and screen protector. Protection levels of IP65, IP67, IP67G (JEM), and IP69K allow the unit to be installed in various environments.

Specialized Software (atLightCurtain)
The atLightCurtain software is specifically designed to monitor the functions of the SFL series light curtains. (Detailed settings may not be available for the standard type SFL series.)
