Yaskawa designed iQpump® 1000 by considering pump service operators and pump system owners. iQpump1000 offers easy setup and comprehensive pump and motor protection features.

Integrated pump-specific software and setting parameters allow operators to program control values ​​for various applications. IQpump1000 will automatically adjust pump operating conditions, due to changing process variables while maintaining optimal pump performance and protection.

iQpump1000 can also replace the phase converter when converting from a one-phase to three-phase pump motor.

• Choose from 5 macro pre-configured pump applications that allow simple and easy settings by users or technicians. Each application has a special quick pump setup menu that allows easy parameter entries by following quick questions.

- Special and Selectable Engineering Units

• Allows for easy configuration of system unit processes from the LCD keypad screen to match pump controls such as PSI, GPM, and Feet.

- Loss of Protection Run Prime / Dry

• Loss of main protection is a feature to protect the pump and motor from damage that will occur if the pump is operated without water. If the pump loses power and continues to operate without water moving through the pump, the pump will produce heat, which in turn will damage the pump seals, motors, pipe manifolds and related components.

- Minimum Sleep Mode

• Protect and turn off the pump at low speeds or in low flow conditions.

- Pre-Charging Control (Controlled Pipe Fill)

• This programmable feature removes the water hammer and extends the life of the system by gradually filling the pipeline before normal full pressure and flow operations. Pump motor speed can be controlled by a system timer, level control device or pressure to indicate when normal operation can begin.

- Hard Current Limits

• When the pump impeller fades over time, it changes the efficiency of the pump. Therefore, to maintain a constant pressure or flow, the pump speed will increase to produce a larger motor amp.

- Alternate pumps

• Whether it's a duplex or quadplex system, the pump will be carried out evenly to ensure that they receive the same run time, thus increasing the life cycle of the pump and motor

Storage Parameters and Removable Terminal Board

• Enables easy replacement of the control card without removing the control cable, and saves all drive settings without the need for a copy device.

- Power quality

• Built-in DC reactors (30 HP and larger) provide the benefits of input harmonics, and protection from input interference. Integrated 12 Pulses version (480V, 40 HP and larger) provides a cost-effective solution for low harmonics.

- Dynamic Noise Control

• Monitor the load at any time and reduce the output voltage automatically, reducing noise that can be heard by the motor.
